The camp is situated at Vakkakoski where the rivers Rautas and Torne comes together. It is one of the best waters for grayling in Sweden but also trout. The best season is in august. Lodging in lappish hut or cottage. Sauna. Possibilities for self house hold.

 2-days tour overnight in lappish hut evening and night fishing

Approx 9.00 car-transfer from your hostel/hotel in Kiruna to Kurravaara 20 minutes away from Kiruna. From here we go by boat upstream  Torne river for  about 10 km. There are no roads in this region and you might see wild animals and birds such as eagles. On arrival at camp Vakkakoski you get lunch; reindeer-meet, potatoes, bread, and then coffee and cake, in our Lappish wilderness-cabin, made the old, traditional way. Free fishing after lunch. The guide will show you fishing places.  After dinner you can enjoy a wooden-heated sauna. Lodging in cottage or lappish hut.In the lappish hut you sleep comfortably on reindeer-furs in sleeping bag. After breakfast you will have time for more fishing. After lunch we go back by boat  to Kurravaara. Transfer to your hotel/hostel in Kiruna.. You have to have your own fishing equipment.
