Henrik has been running his activities since 1979. Already as a teenager his big interest was to stay up in the mountains, summer and winter.
Henrik has a good knowledge both summer and winter time about all mountain area from Kvikkjokk in the south to Treriksröset in the north.
As a kid he spent much time at his family cottage in Kvikkjokk and spent much time in the National parks in the area.
He has been an active climber, competing in dog-sledging and canoe racing. He is a 4 times winner of Nordic Marathon dog-sledge competition, a 250km long distance race. 2 times 3rd place in Artic canoe race, a 540km long distance race.
He has been doing more than 200 dog-sledge tours during a week or more with guests, and more than 100 tours for a week or more on the rivers in the area in the summertime.
There are few people who knows the rivers and rapids in this area better then Henrik. He has a great experience in white water canoeing.
He
started his activities 30 years
old, asked by a group of French airhostesses to take them out dog-sledging……
The
activities are still more or less done by Henrik alone.
He
takes help from me, his wife for paper work and to keep the bookings in order
and this gives the company a character of family company.

Henrik has
Camp
Vakkakoski that he has built himself as a base for all his tours and
adventures.
I
came there myself once upon a time as a tourist and it ended up with marriage.
