As described in 2-days Northern light tour. After lunch, resting a while and enjoyed the nature we go back with the dog-team and snowmobiles to Kurravaara.

2-days NORTHERN LIGHT tour with overnight in a lappish hut.

Approx. 9.00 car-transfer from your hostel/hotel in Kiruna to Kurravaara 20 minutes away from Kiruna. Here the dogs get harnessed in front of the sledges, and you will learn the basics of mushing and snowmobile riding. Together with your friends or other guests you drive the sledges and snowmobiles about 10 km. through the forest and on the ice of Torne and Rautas River. There are no roads in this region and you might see wild animals and tracks from them in the snow.

We stop for lunch; lappish specialities made out of reindeer-meet or fish, bread, and then coffee and cake, in our Lappish wilderness-cabin, made the old, traditional way. Veg. food is also possible if told before. After lunch you can enjoy a peaceful day in nature or try some of the activities as cross-country skiing, chopping firewood, ice-fishing or just relax at the campfire. After dinner you can enjoy a wooden-heated sauna. If weather is clear the chances to see northern light are high. Just a short walk from the camp, and there are no lights to disturbe the spectacular scenery. You sleep comfortably in the cabins in a sleeping bag. After breakfast you will have time for more activities. After lunch we take the dog-teams and snowmobiles through the beautiful winter-landscape back to Kurravaara. Transfer to your hotel/hostel in Kiruna. We are back earliest at 16.30.
